Dre’s Beauty Supply

Early 2025

Dre Harvey was getting ready to open Dre’s Beauty Supply, a Black-owned beauty supply store in Newark built around community as much as products, with workshops on hair care, fitness and mental health. She needed photos that showed that idea before the doors opened, so we planned a studio day in Jersey City with five women from her circle, natural curls, faux locs and short cuts, plus the products she stocks. We shot edge control, growth oil and blowouts in action, along with group shots that look like the point of the whole store. The images now run across her website, printed materials and Instagram. Here’s how commercial shoots work.
